Todd Gedryn is the Founder of College Planning Systems. Before becoming a College Planning Advisor, Todd spent more than a decade in the high tech sector of Silicon Valley, working with both start up and fortune 500 companies. He spent 8 years working directly with higher education institutions, interacting and consulting with Chancellors, Dean of Students, Provosts and CIO’s.
In his College Planning practice, Todd helps clients overcome their concerns about market volatility, rising taxes, saving enough to last the duration of their retirement and paying for college with as little out of pocket as possible. He holds a California Life & Health Insurance License 0B10276.
He graduated with a Dual Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Studio Art from UC Santa Barbara with a Masters in Chinese Medicine from Hai Dan University in Beijing, China. He has practiced Tai Chi, Kung Fu and QiGong for more than 25 years.
Todd married the love of his life, Lisa, in 2000, and has 2 boys. His oldest is in High School and his youngest, in 7th grade, has Down Syndrome. Todd spent 4 years as the Board Chair of the Silicon Valley Down Syndrome Network. SVDSN hosts the annual Buddy Walk, attended by nearly 2000 people each year, and raises the majority of funds to sponsor awareness and research programs throughout the year. He was born, raised and continues to reside in Willow Glen.
